I'm using a whole bunch of mods. The most important is the fps limiter, so the game doesn't burn out my video card (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15585.0.html). The ones that make the game playable for me are Pescado's AwesomeMod (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/samples/ts3/) and Twallan's Story Progression (http://www.the-isz.com/nraas/index.php?/forum/10-nraas-mods/).
